Chairmans Message

It is an honour for me to take over the role of club Chairman for the upcoming season and to welcome you all to Forenaughts. Our coaches and management teams at all levels are eager to get started and to see all the carefully developed plans played out on the field. Due to the hard work, our pitches and playing facilities are in great condition following the down period of rest and repairs.

The numbers attending pre-season training at Senior level are very encouraging, with many new additions preparing well and going through their respective training programmes. Our women’s section is growing and their Senior team will seek to build on a tremendous first campaign from last season. While our Youths are fielding teams at each age grade from Under-12 to Under-18, in addition to the Mini sides.

We continue to work through our Development Plan, which last season saw the new entrance layout completed. Our next focus is on the growing requirements for playing facilities, dressing rooms and gym facilities. There will be more information on this as we progress through our preparations.

We would encourage all members to support our generous and loyal Sponsors in whatever capacity you can. Without the financial support we receive from our Sponsors we would not be able to provide the excellent facilities we have. This season, we will be organising many fund raisers such as the Golf Classic and Business Lunch. We would appreciate your attendance and support at these events as they are vital to our income stream.

I look forward to 2019-20 and to welcoming you and your friends to Naas RFC,

Michael Dempsey
