Mini Leagues

The new Mini Leagues term starts TOMORROW!!! Although the forecast for the late morning is dampish, it seems to be grand earlier so unless you see otherwise on Facebook, twitter or  the website Mini Leagues will go ahead. We know the kids want to get out and play so don’t be put off by the prospect of a bit of rain; they’ll be grand! Application Forms are available to downloadhere. Parents who expressed an interest in helping out with coaching will be contacted soon and indeed the request for help is extended to all parents! Please come down early to register to allow for organisation of the different age groups. As this is a new term it will incur a new registration fee.

Club and Comedy Night

As you know, Dave Young will be returning to the Árena on 9th February in what promises to be another great night’s entertainment and we want to make it a Club night for team mentors and parents. To recognise the success of the Dubs Stars Day there will be videos and photos from the day on the big screen. If anybody has photos they’d like to share, please get in touch at this email address. Tickets are €10 (not €15 as previously reported) and are available from the bar.

National League Ticket Book

The ticket book is now open in Áras Bharróg for the first of three Spring Series National Football League matches in Croke Park. The ticket book will close next Sunday 27th at 9pm. Tickets bought in advance cost €15 for adults and €5 for juveniles while adult tickets bought on the day will cost €20.

National Club Draw

Teams can STILL collect their tickets for the National Draw from Secretary Vinny Potter by contacting him on 086 8276252.

TheNational Club Draw takes place again this year as always and it’s a fantastic way for us to literally make money with no outlay. Unlike other draws and raffles, all we have to do is sell tickets and we get ALL the money! The GAA put up all the prizes, and they’re fantastic’, so what we take in is dependent only on the effort we put into selling tickets and here’s the good bit;every penny from every ticket each team sells goes back to the team.

Club Specific Draw: After its success last year, the GAA is continuing a specific draw for all clubs who record, account for and sell a minimum of 200 tickets. The prizes will be provided by the Central Council. For clubs to qualify for the draw they must have:

1. Sold a minimum of 200 tickets.

2. Recorded all sold tickets on the online ticket recording system.

3. Accounted for all funds raised in the club accounts - i.e. the amount shown in club income should correspond with the total ticket sales amount.

4. Adhered to all terms and conditions of the Draw.
