Clubnotes EXTRA 29th June 2018   29/06/2018

Last night we were visited by Gemma and Philip Carr of the Ciarán Carr Foundation to present the club with a new defibrillator to replace the one lost in the container fire. We are extremely grateful to the Carr family and Foundation for their thoughtfulness and generosity.

The GoFundMe page, called Replacement Equipment & Container, is receiving great support, edging towards €7,000. We still have some way to go but thanks to club members and supporters, local people and groups and the GAA community we are getting closer.

The first of our Summer Camps is the Football Camp due to start on Monday. This is now FULL. There will be no registration at all on Monday morning. As the hot weather is set to continue, make sure that your child has a water bottle and is smothered in sunblock, snowman-like.

Tonight’s the night to test your knowledge of all sorts of things and prove once and for all that you’re not the blunt chisel in the toolbox, the broken pencil in the case, the soggy sambo in the picnic basket. Come on down for some craic and help support the club while you have some nice, cool refreshments. The multi-media Kit Quiz costs a tenner per head (shoulders not included) so get a team together of make one up down there. MC Ash takes the microphone in Áras Bharróg to raise funds for of the U9 and U11 teams.
