Clubnotes 1st December 2017   03/12/2017

The Intermediate footballers Division 3 play-off FINAL away to Ballyboughal on Sunday December 3rd at 11am and every bit of support will be greatly appreciated; winning means promotion back to Division 2 and Senior football. As was mentioned earlier, there will be no pre-match reception for the lads, this'll be a tough hard-fought match in a very partisan setting. We need to have the numbers there in support so if you need to go to mass or to bring the dogs for a walk, get the papers or wash the car, do it earlier!

Tonight live in the Árena Mack Fleetwood will be playing the classic ‘Rumours’ album in its entirety on the 40th anniversary of it’s release. With a track listing that includes "Second Hand News", "Dreams", "Never Going Back Again", "Don't Stop", "Go Your Own Way", "Songbird", "The Chain" (title music for Formula One on BBC2!), "You Make Loving Fun", "I Don't Want to Know", "I Don't Want to Know", "Oh Daddy", "Gold Dust Woman" this album was and still is mega-selling. You'll know most of the songs so you can sing-along to your hearts content. This is guaranteed to be a really great night of classic pop/rock with a top class band who have played in the Marquee in Cork, The Arena in Belfast and will be playing in Vicar Street in January. And it's only a tenner!!!!! This band are usually twice that so get down early. Ring the bar at 01-8396963 to reserve your tickets.

Mentors, please remind/encourage/coerce your charges that we have a new range of club leisurewear available in time for the Christmas rush and that this is an ideal time to stock(ing) up on playing gear such as gloves, socks, shorts etc. while hints can also be dropped (at whatever volume is necessary) to encourage your subordinates to replenish your supplies of rain jackets, hoodies, etc. Parents should use this opportunity to exploit the innocence of your children by getting them the above mentioned items as presents, thereby saving money in the long run. Grannies who don’t know what to get the kids should be pointed to Áras Bharróg of a Saturday morn or any other time by prior arrangement with the club shop manager, Young Mr Martin.

Mini Leagues continue on Saturday morning at 10am and will finish on 16th December.

There was no winner of last night's Lotto Jackpot, numbers drawn were 10, 13, 16 & 18. Next week’s jackpot will be €8,400.
