Three Hurling Championship Finals Decided last weekend
After last weekendâs hurling action, county champions were won at various levels by Lixnaw, Kilmoyley and Austin Stacks.
Lixnaw, captained by John Buckley, are the Keaneâs SuperValu Killorglin County Minor Hurling Champions for the second year in a row following a comprehensive 3-19 to 1-10 victory over St. Brendanâs in Kilmoyley on Saturday. Jeremy McKenna won the Man of the Match award.

On Sunday at Abbeydorney, Kilmoyley, captained by Richard Gentleman, won the County Intermediate championship with a 2 â 14 to 1 â 13 win over Dr. Crokes

At Lixnaw, Austin Stackâs won the Junior championship title with a comprehensive 4 â 12 to 0 â 11 win over Duagh with Danny Maguire as captain. At half time, the Rockies had a lead of 4 points (1-6 to 0-5) and pulled out all the stops to win convincingly 4-14 to 0-10.
