Kerry GAA Launch Unique Fundraising Initiative to Build for the Future

The Kerry County Board has launched a unique fundraising initiative to raise funds for the New Kerry GAA Centre of Excellence.

The Kerry GAA Centre of Excellence incorporates two locations, a co-hosted GAA facility at the Institute of Technology, Tralee, and six playing fields with a training facility at Currans near Kerry Airport.

In cooperation with Local Artist Maureen O’Mahony, Kerry GAAis fundraising by selling a unique print “Birthright” to Kerry Supporters worldwide.

The Theme of “Birthright” is:
''To the people of Kerry, who believe that the Kingdom is the true home of Sam Maguire and to all the mighty players past and present who made this belief possible''

Speaking at the launch Maureen said” ''The idea for “Birthright” evolved over time. As a Dub living in the Kingdom I have an outsider's view of how Kerry people feel about football, the players and of course Sam Maguire. They are so passionate in their belief that Sam Maguire belongs here and have such faithin and loyalty to all players past and present.”

Speaking at the launch former Kerry great Ger O Keeffe said,” This is a unique way for Kerry Supporters to contribute towards the building of the new Centre of Excellence and the future of Kerry football and to receive a beautiful print as a record of their contribution”.
The prints and the unique message are available for purchase framed at €150 or unframed at €100 plus post and packaging.

Prints can be purchased in the Kerry GAA shop in the Killarney Outlet Centre or online athttps://www.facebook.com/OfficialKerryGAA/photos
