South Kerry 1-17 Austin Stacks 0-8

South Kerry welcomed Austin Stacks to Con Keating Park, Cahirciveen for the Acorn Life Under 21 Championship Quarter Final on Wednesday evening. The game was played in ideal weather conditions. South Kerry went ahead in the first minute with a point from Conor O'Shea and this was followed with a point from Ciaran Keating before the visitors got their first score, a point by Sean Ryan on seven minutes. Danny Carroll then equalised matters a minute later but this was as good as it got for Stacks as they were totally outclassed by the home team to leave the score at half time 0 – 10 to 0 – 5 in favour of South Kerry.

The second half could not have started off much worse for Stacks as Andy Quigley blasted the ball to the net with just two minutes gone in the half. With Denis Daly, Ciaran Keating, Conor O'Shea and others scoring some great points, South Kerry won out easily on the score of 1–17 to 0–8.
