A huge and appreciative audience were in attendance and 137 competitors took to the stage. Certainly the standard of competition was of a very high level and this is down to the trojan work done by all the many organisers of the competitions through their Scor Officers and Tutors throughout the County. The day got off to an early start with the Quiz opening the proceedings at the Intermediate School Killorglin which began at the earlier time of 11am and at the end of a titanic battle it was St. Senans  who were crowned winners. However there was a tie for second place between Tousist and Glenflesk with the latter taking second spot. Then it was onto Foilmore for the remainder of the programme with Aine Ní Shiocháin, Bean An Tí for the occasion.

The Solo Singing winner was Liam Evans, Keel and in second place came Shane O Sullivan from St, Senans.
