Fintan O’Connor is the new Kerry Hurling Manager

Fintan O’Connor has today been named as the new Kerry Senior Hurling Manager in succession to Ciarán Carey. Hwill take up the position with immediate effect. His appointment is for an initial two year term with the option of a third year.

Tipperary based O’Connor, who is a member of the Ballybacon-Grange Club, has named former Tipperary goalkeeper Brendan Cummins as Coach and will announce his management and backroom teams at a later date.

Fintan O’Connor has been Coach/Selector with the Waterford Senior Hurling Team under Derek McGrath for the past two years

He has been Coach /Selector at Waterford Institute of Technology for the past three years during which they reached two Fitzgibbon Cup Finals, winning in 2014.
