Junior Club Championship Semi Final Draws on this Saturday

The Draws for the Premier Junior and Junior Club Championship Semi Finals will be made on Radio Kerry on Saturday next at 2:30pm.

Junior Premier Club Championship

The remaining Quarter final tie between Dromid Pearses and Glenbeigh -Glencar will be played on July 10th. The other semi finalists are Listowel Emmets, Na Gaeil and Ballydonoghue.

Junior Club Championship

The four semi finalists are Scartaglen, Fossa, Beale and Listry.

The following is the state of play following the various Castleisland Mart Club Championship games this weekend.

Intermediate Championship
Venue: Ardfert, (Qtr Final), An Ghaeltacht 1-13 Ardfert 0-11
Semi Finals: An Ghaeltacht V Templenoe and Desmonds V Kenmare

Junior Premier Championship
Venue: Farranfore (Firies), (Qtr Final), Listowel Emmets 0-12 Firies 0-11
Venue: Killeen (Na Gaeil), (Qtr Final), Na Gaeil 2-12 Annascaul 2-8
The remaining quarter final tie between Dromid Pearses and Glenbeigh-Glencar was not played due to South Kerry’s SFC replay with Austin Stacks.
Semi Final lineup: Ballydonoghue, Listowel Emmets, Na Gaeil and Dromid Pearses or Glenbeigh/Glencar.

Novice Football Championship
Preliminary Rounds: Tuosist received a walk/over from Kilgarvan
Duagh defeated Clounmacon 2-8 to 0-9 this afternoon this evening.
Venue: Cordal, (Qtr Final), Ballyduff 2-15 Cordal 0-12

Castleisland Mart Club Championship resume this weekend

After two weekends of county football championship action it’s back to the Castleisland Mart Club Championships this coming weekend. The majority of games are down for decision on Saturday at evening at 7pm with extra time where necessary in all games.

Intermediate Championship
The outstanding quarter final tie between Ardfert and An Ghaeltacht goes ahead on Saturday with the winners playing Templenoe in the semi final. Desmonds and Kenmare have already qualified for the other semi final.

Junior Premier Championship
In the Junior Premier Championship, two of the remaining three quarter finals ties will be played on Saturday. Firies host Emmets and Na Gaeil are home to Annascaul. The remaining tie between Dromid Pearses and Glenbeigh-Glencar is off due to South Kerry’s replay with Austin Stacks.

Junior Club Championship
In the Junior Club Championship, the remaining three quarter finals are down for decision with Castlegregory home to Fossa, Listry hosting Tarbert and Scartaglen at home to Knocknagoshel, a game that will be played on Sunday at 2:30. Beale booked their place in the semi finals with an exciting 2-12 to 1-13 victory over neighbours Asdee last weekend.

Novice Championship
Two preliminary round games in the Novice Championship, will also be played on Saturday next with Tuosist at home to Kilgarvan and Clounmacon home to Duagh. There is also one quarter final tie featuring Cordal against Ballyduff.
