Garveys Supervalu Senior Hurling Championship Fixtures

The following fixtures for Round 1 of the Senior Hurling Championship were made at Monday night’s meeting of the CCC;

Saturday June 25th: Crotta O’Neills V Abbeydorney in Ballyduff at 7pm

Sunday June 26th: there is a Double Bill in Abbeydorney where Ballyduff play Kilmoyley at 2pm followed by the meeting of Ballyheigue and St Brendans at 3:30pm.

Also on Sunday 26th, Causeway play Lixnaw in Kilmoyley at 7pm.
Round 2 will be played on the weekend of July 10th.

While Round 1 of the Championship will see all games played at North Kerry venues due to the unavailability of Austin Stack Park which stages the national Féile finals on June 25^th/26^th, with the agreement of the hurling clubs, Round 2 and the remaining rounds of the competition will be played at the Tralee venue.

Garveys Supervalu Senior Hurling Championship Draw

The Draw for the Garveys Supervalu Senior County Hurling Championship was made live on Radio Kerry this afternoon. Present at the draw were Kevin McCarthy representing Sponsors, Garveys, Diarmuid Ó Sé Vice Chairman of the County Committee, Joe Walsh Chairman of County Champions Kilmoyley, Hurling Officer, Ger McCarthy, Cultural Officer Leona Twiss and Christy Killeen Secretary of the CCC.

The Draw resulted in the following pairings:

Crotta O’Neills V Abbeydorney
St Brendans V Ballyheigue
Lixnaw V Causeway
Ballyduff V Kilmoyley

Round 1 games are scheduled for the weekend of June 26th with Round 2 on the weekend of July 10th.
