Kerry Leave Mayo with 2 points!   03/03/2020

Kerry Leave Mayo with Two Points

Last weekend, Storm Jorge played havoc with the fixture schedule.

Our original fixture for Saturday was postponed until 1pm on Sunday.

This was far from ideal for supporters and the team alike but it was the correct decision considering the red warnings that had been issued.

On Sunday 8000 supporters gathered in McHale Park Castlebar and quite a proportion were Kerry fans. Our thanks to everyone that made the journey in rather challenging conditions.

In the first half, Kerry played beautiful football and could have been much further ahead at half time but still looked the dominant team.

The second half was a different story as Mayo played with far more intensity. Kerry held on to win by 1 point.

These valuable two League points put Kerry into second place on the Division 1 table. Galway are the current table toppers.

Our next game is away to Monaghan and in the final round we are home to Donegal.

Tickets are on sale for both games.

The game against Donegal is all ticket so purchase your ticket early to avoid disappointment.

As it is an all ticket game, juveniles will need a ticket also, these can be purchased for 5 Euro.

Adult pre purchase price is 15 Euro. Tickets can be purchased from Centra, SuperValu and the Kerry GAA Store, Killarney
