Grants and Finance

Next Monday evening, March 2nd, sees a unique first for Kerry GAA. As a result of very strong interest and demand from clubs, the following event has been organised: “Everything you need to know about Grants and Finance” VenueKerry Sports Academy, IT Tralee. Room W217. Date: March 2nd 7.45pm sharp. A tour of the new, state of the art Sports Academy will be provided at 7.20pm sharp for those present at that time. For the first time, the Sports Capital Department will specifically present to the GAA (This will be first for clubs anywhere and they will also take questions). In addition to the grants, the CEO of the Munster Council, John Brennan, will present on GAA grants and on GAA loans. The second half of the evening will address the topic of Finance and will comprise of a moderated panel discussion between AIB, BOI and Cara Credit Union (Questions again accepted), followed by a presentation by Clann Credo. This evening should be key for all clubs, irrespective of any development done, planned or nothing on the horizon and we would ask that every club is represented. Also, as there is a strong link between GAA clubs and Kerry schools when it comes to Sports Capital Funding, please feel free to ask a representative of your local school to attend.
