Huge crowds turned out for this years Duck race because the weather was nothing short of magnificent. Unlike previous years where there wasn't a drop of water flowing down the river and the ducks took hours to get from Inniscarra bridge to the Weir , it was all overe in 10 minutes. The Dam had released on the day and the ducks got stuck in a clump and all headed for the line in a big batch causing havoc for those gathering them up... :-)

Half the ducks were gathered at teh Angelers Rest. As always thanks for all those who took part and especially those who braved the strong currents to keep the whole race under control ...
