BEFORE registration for the course will be accepted, you MUST complete the following and provide proof to VAI of the following with your Course Registration Form:

 ·Complete the exam paper and forward to by no later than 7th December 2016

o    Register for and complete a Code of Ethics Course in your individual capacity (check with your nearest County Council or local sports partnership for details of courses in your area – below a schedule for South County Council courses)

o    Comply with Garda Vetting Requirements (new e-vetting applies with immediate effect)

o   When you register via the Course Registration Form with the Volleyball Association of Ireland (VAI) you will be sent an ID Validation form and "invitation to be vetted" form. They must be completed and returned to the VAI

o   Once VAI receives these forms and they verify your identity, they will email you a link so you can complete the e-vetting online process;

o   VAI will submit information directly to the Garda e-vetting bureau;

o   VAI will be informed of those that are cleared;

o   Once VAI receives clearance then a referee can complete registration. Until then nobody can be registered.

o   Read the rules summary and hand signals

o   Familiarise yourself on how to complete an official scoresheet, sit the online tutorial if you have not already done this.
