Club Calendar

2019 club calendars are now on sale in Flynn’s, Mullingar Optician’s, and in the clubhouse at €10 each or two for €15. All proceeds will go towards underage football.

O’Byrne Cup

We are extremely thankful to all the volunteers who helped last Saturday as we hosted our second O’Byrne Cup match in as many weeks. A lot of effort and preparation went into hosting such an event to which we are extremely grateful for your time.Westmeath are making a habit of winning in The Downs and will now progress to face Dublin in the Final this Friday at 8pm in Parnell Park.

Scór Leinster Final

Unfortunately, we had not luck in Wexford Opera House last Sunday, but everyone at the club are very proud of the efforts of both our Léiriú and Emily Shaw. Well done to St. Josephs who were the only Westmeath side to win a title.

Scór Tea Party

The Downs Scór will host an American style tea party this coming Saturday in the clubhouse at 8:30pm. Tickets are €10 and music on the night is from Ray Dolan.

Westmeath GAA Gaeltacht Scholarships

CLG Iarmhí in conjunction with Club Iarmhí will sponsor 6 part scholarships to Coláistí Samhraidh and applications are invited from your club members. Closing date is Friday 8th Feb. Interviews will be held in the first week of March 2019 and applicants will be informed of their interview details by email or by text if no valid email address is available.
