Here’s this week’s instalment! 





Please read the information below and take note of changes to the Training Schedule for the next few weeks – NOTE DATES.  This information applies to all Underage Boys and Camogie Girls from Under 6 up to Under 12 only.


                                Sunday, 9thAugust                          No training for U6 up to U12 Boys Underage and Camogie – due to the start of Cul Camp the following day


                                Tuesday, 11thAugust                      No training for U6 up to U12 Boys Underage – due to Cul Camp


                                Sunday, 16thAugust                        No training for U6 up to U12 Boys Underage and Camogie – due to Cul Camp.


                                Tuesday, 18thAugust                      Normal Training Schedule resumes for U6 up to U12 Boys Underage (Football)

                                                                                                Until Final Training session  – date to be advised.


                                Sunday, 23rdAugust                        Normal Training Schedule resumes for U6 up to U12 Boys Underage and Camogie

Reminder:-  Regatta GAA Fun Football Blitz for Girls and Boys (age 6 to age 10) – this evening Thursday, 6th August at 6.30pm.  Please be there for 6.15pm.

Congratulations to Kinsale GAA Player Caoimhe O Callaghan and the Cork Minors on winning the All-Ireland Final on Monday, 3rd August, against Galway.


More Congratulations, this time to Kinsale’s Orla Finn and the Cork Seniors on their huge win over Meath.  Next up for the Seniors - a Quarter Final against Galway.

REMINDER: - Cul Camp 


Cul Camp will take place in Kinsale GAA Club, week commencing August 10th to the 14th.  It’s for children from the age of 5 up to 13 years.  Time 10am to 2pm every day.  Cul Camp contact is Laurence Murphy 087-9056737.

Don’t be disappointed - book in advance to secure your place!! Closing Date for On-Line Registrations is Friday, 7th August at 12 noon. And 5pm on Friday 7th Augustwith Laurence in Maurice Murphy’s Shop.


Important Cul Camp Details:


Check-in will start at 9.30am on Monday, 10th August - Please make sure that you come to the desk to check your child/children in with us.

Check in is only necessary on the first day – thereafter your child/children can go straight into the dressing rooms to put their gear inside and head out onto the pitch to join their group.


What to bring:

Packed Lunch and Drink.

Hurley & Helmet for Hurling/Camogie

Mouth Guard for Football.

Suitable playing gear i.e. tracksuit and/or shorts, top, long sleeved warm top/hoody,  runners or boots.

Rain Jacket/Gear and a change of clothes on wet days.



Please ensure that your child/children are wearing Sun Cream when they arrive at Cul Camp (with our Irish weather – you never know how the day will turn out!).


Rain:-  Cul Camp will go ahead even if raining so please ensure your child has rain gear with them – Only if the rain is extremely heavy, torrential and persistant will Cul Camp be cancelled.  In these circumstances a decision will be made as early as possible and we will let parents/guardians know what’s happening as quickly as we can.
