4 Mile Walk in aid of Margaret O’Dwyer Trust Fund – 23rdMay, Belgooly at 3pm

Margaret O’ Dwyer, who is originally from Belgooly and now lives in Ballythomas, Dunderrow with her partner Paudie O’ Driscoll and their
daughter Michaela, was diagnosed in her mid-20’s with the rare disease- Schwannomatosis. This is a condition that results in the
growth of multiple benign tumours on her spine.  Having already undergone 17 individual procedures on her spine, Margaret was recently confined to a wheelchair following complications after undergoing her latest surgery.

Having spent almost twelve months between CUH and the National Rehabilitation Centre, Dún Laoghaire, Margaret has recently returned
to her family home in Dunderrow but urgently requires additional significant alternations to her home as well as a necessity to acquire a suitable electric wheelchair, mobility vehicle, several items of exercise equipment and ongoing medical costs.

In response to Margaret’s needs, members of the recently established Margaret O’ Dwyer Trust Fund decided to host a four mile fundraising
walk in Belgooly on May 23rd at 3pm .

Please go along and support this very worthy cause.
