Round 1 – Eight teams, four games, winners to Round 3, losers to Round 2
Round 2 – Four teams, two games, Winners to Round 3 losers eliminated.
Round 3 (Quarter-finals) – Six teams, two games, two winners from Round 1 plus two winners Round 2.  Winner from Round 1 v Winner from Round 2. Two byes. Losers eliminated

Junior B Football (Thirteen teams)
Round 1 – Thirteen teams, six games plus a bye. Winners to Round 3/Quarter-Finals, the losers go to Round 2.
Round 2 – Seven teams, three game plus a bye team. The Bye team from Round 1 will play the first team drawn from the hat. If the bye team from Round 1 is defeated in Round 2 they must be accommodated in Round 3.
Round 3 – Ten or Eleven teams
If ten teams: Two games. The games involve the bye team from Round 2 and the 3 Round 2 winners, with byes to the six winners from Round 1. Losers eliminated
If eleven teams: Three games. The games involve the bye teams from Round 1 & 2, the 3 Round 2 winners and a Round 1 winner, with byes to the five winners from Round 1. The bye team from Round 2 will play the first team drawn. Losers Eliminated.
"The CCC are proposing a change to the format of the Championship at the Quarterfinal stage. Where possible, First Round winners will be kept apart at the Quarterfinal stage."
