Roscommon Ladies Gaa latest News  






The heat is really being turned up now in our club championships with round 3 games taking place last weekend in senior and intermediate grades and the first of the knockout stages of Junior A with the quarter finals taking place , with the results as follows:  


 Abbey Hotel Senior Championship:  


Kilbride  2-15 Strokestown 1-05 

Shannon Gaels 1-14 St Brigids 2-09,  

Padraig Pearses  5-05 Clann na nGael  7-21 



Hydrotech Water Supplies Intermediate Championship:  


Western Gaels 5-12 Michael Glaveys 2-06, 

St Ciarans  2-09 Kilglass Gaels 4-09.  

Eire Og 4-15 Boyle 2-11.  


Keenans Bar and Restaurant Junior A Championship Quarter Finals.  


Castlerea 5-12 St Dominic’s 1-09, 

St Faithleach’s 2-12 ballinameen 2-06, 

St Barry’s  3-20 St Croans 3-01 

St Mary’s 4-12 Oran 3-10. 



Keenans Bar and Restaurant Junior B Championship.

The action continues next weekend with round 5 (final group game) taking place in senior and intermediate and also round 5 in the Junior B grade.  These fixtures are as follows: 


Abbey Hotel Senior Championship:

The Junior A Championship has now reached the semi- final stage with St faithleach’s facing St Barry’s and Castlerea taking on St Mary’s. these semis will take place later in August. Please keep an eye on our social media outlets and our website for these details.  






The Ward Bros sponsored intermediate ladies are continuing their preparations for their upcoming all Ireland qualifier series. They have been drawn against Down with the winners playing Sligo in the quarter finals. The Down match takes place on the weekend of the 6th August in Drumlane Co Cavan at 2pm.
