Congratulations to Ben Murray, who captained the UCD Intermediate Hurling team who won the Electric Ireland Intermediate title, defeating Mar I of Limerick in the final. Commiserations to Sean Ryan, who was midfield on the Carlow IT team who were defeated by DCU in the Sigerson football final.

GAA and Camogie Dinner Dance

Upcoming Ballinascarthy GAA and Camogie Dinner Dance celebrating the achievements of 2019 will take place in Dunmore House Hotel on Saturday the 11th of January from 19.30. Tickets are 35 euro and available from Village Store and club officers.

The rearranged Puc Fada saw 11 teams compete for both GAA and Camogie prizes. Winners of GAA section were Ben Murray, Sean Ryan and Daniel O'Brien. Winners of Camogie section were Michelle Dullea and Lisa Hegarty. 140 euro raised for Clogagh National School.
